Kryvyi Rih Cross Triathlon Championship

On August 1st, join the open cross triathlon championship in Kryvyi Rih! Swim, bike and run on a real cross-country course — dirt roads, gravel and a forest belt. A format for those who like their triathlon without the asphalt routine.

• Location: start/finish — "Teremok" recreation base, Sofiivka village, Ukrainska St. 68, Dnipropetrovsk region
• Organizer: NGO "Triathlon Federation of Kryvyi Rih"
• Participant limit: 150 people

A relay is also offered — 2-3 participants of any age and gender (one participant may cover two legs) — along with a separate veterans' team category.

Course surface: bike leg — dirt road, gravel, concrete; run leg — dirt surface along and through the forest belt.

Event schedule

• 07:00–08:30 — race packet pickup
• 08:00–08:30 — participants set up in the transition zone
• 08:35 — official opening ceremony
• 08:50 — briefing
• 09:00 — middle distance start
• 10:00 — sprint distance start
• 14:00 — last participants finish
• 14:15 — transition zone closes
• 15:00 — awards ceremony and closing of the event

Participant categories

• Men: 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+, 60+
• Women: up to 35, 36+
• Relay: overall standings
• Veterans' teams: separate standings

A category is formed if it has at least 5 participants — otherwise organizers may merge neighboring age groups.

Entry fees

• Individual entry — 1,500 UAH (first 10 entrants per distance), then 1,700 UAH
• Team entry — 2,700 UAH (first 10 teams per distance), then 3,400 UAH
• Veterans' teams — free

Discount categories

• Combat veterans — 50% discount
• Participants 60+ — 30% discount

To confirm eligibility when picking up your race packet, you must present a document proving your right to the discount.

Registration

Participation in the Triathlon is paid. A participant is considered registered after completing the registration form on the website and paying the entry fee. The limit is 150 people, so don't wait — organizers reserve the right to close registration early once the limit is reached.

The timing chip is provided on loan — it must be returned after the finish. A lost chip incurs a 1,500 UAH fine, payable on race day.

Awards

• All finishers receive a finisher medal
• Winners and place-getters in the overall and age-group standings receive diplomas (awards are not duplicated across standings)
• Winners and place-getters in the relay receive diplomas and gifts from partners
