Description
Run to strengthen the air defense of the “THIRD”.

On August 16, in the mountain resort of Skhidnytsia, the first trail race “Skhidnytsia Trail 2025” will take place — a sporting event that combines a love for the mountains, an active lifestyle, and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The event aims to support the air defense unit of the Third Army Corps.

One of the founders of “Skhidnytsia Trail” is a fighter of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade with the call sign “Malyuk”.

Running has become an essential part of his life: a way to find balance, strength, and joy. He covered kilometers of trail routes like others overcome daily hardships — with confidence and fire in his heart. This race was born not only out of love for the mountains. It was born of pain, faith, and strength of spirit.
When Malyuk was wounded, another battle began — for recovery, for movement, for life. And it was then, during rehabilitation, that the idea arose together with runner Oleksii: to create a trail race that would unite people around a good cause. A race where every step is not just about covering the distance, but a contribution to protecting our skies.

The goal is to raise funds to support the air defense of the “Third” — the unit that holds the line every day so that we can live, run, and dream.

“Skhidnytsia Trail” is about endurance. About the strength of spirit, unity, gratitude, and support. About memory.
It’s a race where every participant, every kilometer, every contribution matters.

The race will take place on August 16, 2025 with the support of the Skhidnytsia Village Council. Over 200 runners from various regions of Ukraine are expected to participate.

The organizers invite everyone to join — run, donate, help. Every step on the course will be a step toward our shared victory.

All funds raised will be used to strengthen the unit! Glory to Ukraine!
