2. Purpose of the Event
2.1. Popularization and development of recreational running, increasing mass participation of amateur runners;
2.2. Development of mountain (trail) running in the region;
2.3. Engaging a wide audience in regular physical activity and sports;
2.4. Improving the health of city and regional residents;
2.5. Charity, support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
3. Organizers
3.1. Event Organizers: NGO “UZHTRAIL”, DEPARTMENT OF CULTURE, YOUTH AND SPORTS OF THE UZHHOROD CITY COUNCIL, NGO "UZHHOROD RUNNING CLUB"
4. Date and Venue of the Competition
The competition will take place on November 2, 2025.
Location: Zakarpattia region, Uzhhorod, 38 Verkhovynska Street.
General start and finish for all participants — “Yuber” terrace (38 Verkhovynska Street).
Race distances: 2 km, 5 km, 10 km, and children's races (routes go through Shakhtynskyi Forest).
Elevation gain: 2 km – 50 m, 5 km – 160 m, 10 km – 360 m; (detailed data will be shared along with course tracks).
Organizer’s tent and pre-start registration open from 09:30 AM.
Official opening ceremony: 10:00 AM
Start times: children's races – 10:20 AM, 2 km / 5 km / 10 km – 11:00 AM
The course will be marked. Police and medical staff will be on duty at the start area.
5. Participation Terms
5.1. Participants are admitted to the race upon providing the required documents to the Organizer when collecting their starter pack:

5.3. Paid registration fee;
5.4. Identity document confirming the participant’s age (mandatory for all participants).
5.5. Participation is allowed for men and women aged 18 and older without health contraindications. Children participate either with or under the supervision of parents.
5.6. Recommended: a medical certificate of good health or a signed statement declaring that the participant takes full responsibility for their participation in the event.
5.7. Mandatory equipment:
Lack of any mandatory item — penalty of +30 min or disqualification. The organizers may check for mandatory equipment at any time. Volunteers may also perform checks at checkpoints upon instruction from the organizers.
5.8. Free transfer of registration to another participant is allowed until October 31, 2025 inclusive.
5.9. After the transfer deadline (October 31, 2025), a participant may pass their starter pack to another person, but in this case, the new person will not receive a timing chip or result in the official protocol and will not be eligible for prizes. All other starter pack contents remain unchanged.
5.10. Planned registration closes on October 31, 2025 at 23:55. Changes may occur based on the number of available registrations.

6. Liability
Each participant voluntarily takes part in the event, acknowledging all potential risks to their own health during and after the competition;
6.1. Each participant is personally responsible for their physical condition and ability to complete the chosen race distance;
6.2. The organizer is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or deterioration of the participant’s health that occurred before, during, or after the event;
6.3. The organizer is not responsible for any deterioration of the participant’s health after the competition;
6.4. The organizer is not liable for any losses (loss or damage to personal belongings) incurred by participants during the event or any other damage caused during the event by participants or third parties;
6.5. In case of injury or any other emergency that prevents the participant from continuing, they must immediately inform the organizers using the emergency number (printed on the bib) or ask another participant to do so if unable themselves;
6.6. Participation involves risk of injuries of various severity, from minor to those leading to partial disability or even death. Being aware of this, participants assume full responsibility for their own health and are obliged to act responsibly, including quitting the race if needed and notifying the organizers;
6.7. All participants must follow the principles of "fair play" and are prohibited from interfering with course markings or damaging nature;
6.8. All participants must pay attention to others’ injuries and are obliged to assist those in need and inform the organizers about the situation, type of injury, location, and the injured participant’s number;
6.9. If a participant needs to quit due to injury or health issues, they must immediately inform the organizers by providing their bib number and location using the announced emergency number;
6.10. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or change race distances due to adverse weather conditions or emergency situations in the region that pose a threat to participants’ safety and health.
6.11. The organizer has the right to assign a 30-minute penalty or disqualify a participant in the following cases:
6.11.1. Leaving the marked trail, thereby shortening the distance or avoiding an obstacle or challenging section and gaining advantage over others;
6.11.2. Receiving outside assistance during the race, except from volunteers at checkpoints, medical personnel, or in other permitted cases as outlined in these rules;
6.11.3. Leaving any items, trash, gel wrappers, etc., on the course. Participants must carry all their items (including mandatory gear, if required by this regulation or its addendums) and those received from volunteers at CPs to the finish. Volunteers may check gear at CPs;
6.11.4. Failing to assist or notify organizers when another participant needs medical help;
6.11.5. Not following the instructions of medical staff;
6.11.6. Aggressive behavior, causing harm or obstructing others, or rude conduct towards volunteers;
6.11.7. Participation with pets is allowed only if the participant does not claim a prize position. The participant is responsible for ensuring their pet does not endanger others or affect their results.
7. Material Support
7.1. The event is organized using financial, material, and informational resources of the organizers, partners, and sponsors, and has a charitable purpose. The prize fund is formed from entry fees or sponsorships. Travel, accommodation, and meals are covered by the organizations sending participants or by the participants themselves.
8. Personal Data
8.1. Each participant agrees to the use of their personal data, photos, video, or audio materials involving them, without additional consent, for event promotion without any compensation from the organizer.
8.2. All photo and video materials available to the organizer may be used as supporting documentation to verify race results or rule violations.

9.2. Discounts:
9.2.1. 10% – Running clubs, athletics federations, public or governmental organizations related to athletics;
9.2.2. 20% – Participants aged 60+;
9.2.3. 20% – Persons with disabilities of groups 1–3;
9.2.4. 20% – Members of the Armed Forces, National Guard, State Border Guard Service, combatants, and other military-related groups;

11. Participant Starter Pack
12. Regulation Amendments
12.1. The organizer reserves the right to amend the current regulations at any time in order to ensure the most efficient organization of the competition;
12.2. In the event of key changes or additions, participants will be additionally informed via the email address provided during registration.
13. Results and Recording
13.1. The organizer does not guarantee receipt of personal results by each participant in the following cases:
13.1.1. The participant entered incorrect contact details (phone number, email) during registration;
13.1.2. The participant violated the rules of the event and the terms of this regulation; the bib number was not placed on the front;
13.1.3. Violation of "fair play" rules;
13.2. Results will be recorded in real time and can be viewed at: https://timingevents.com/results/
13.3. The participant’s bib number must be worn on the front; it is forbidden to cover the number with any clothing; to fold or trim the number; to damage or remove the chip.
