Organizer: NGO "BLACK FOREST"
Truly Flat Marathon (SHARK & Diysno Rivnyi Marathon) is a charity race in Drohobych for those chasing a personal best. The organizers offer an officially measured course that is as flat as it gets in Ukraine — only 64 meters of elevation gain over the full marathon.
November 6, 2027 is one of two 2027 editions: the organizers announced April 25 and November 6 so runners can plan their season ahead. The team is already working on lessons from the previous race and improving what went well.
The event brings together elite athletes, amateurs, ultrarunners, veterans and sports fans. Part of the organizing team are servicemen of the “Chornyi Lis” brigade; the sports direction is led by Major Serhiy Pankevych, Master of Sports and member of Ukraine’s national 24-hour running team.
