Fun Karpaty Trail

Fun Karpaty Trail is an autumn trail race in Yamna near Yaremche: five distances from a vertical kilometre to 50.9 km, based at the GOTS hotel with a pool and bograch at the finish. This year there is also a charity online run with the 47th Magura Brigade.

Course

• Long — 50.9 km, +2,097 m, 12 h cut-off
• Hard — 38.5 km, +2,207 m, 10 h
• Middle — 18.5 km, +951 m, 4 h
• Lite — 10.8 km, +599 m, 3 h
• Vertical — 2.9 km, +733 m, 2 h

Schedule

• 23 Oct, 18:30–20:00 — pack pickup
• 24 Oct: 08:00 — Hard start; 09:00 — Long, Middle, Lite; 18:00 — awards
• 25 Oct, 10:00 — Vertical start; 13:30 — awards

Race pack

Finisher medal, bib, chip, gifts, bag storage, aid stations. Mandatory kit is checked at pickup: phone with the track, GPS, cup; plus a hooded jacket and 0.5 l of water for Middle; plus a headlamp and first-aid kit for Long and Hard.

Charity

Online run “I Run for Magura”: 4.7 km anywhere on 14–15 November, recorded in Strava; 1,470 UAH, proceeds go to the Atlas company of the 47th Brigade.

Registration and refunds

Online or on race day at the start. Fees are non-refundable; if the race is postponed, entries carry over or 50% is refunded.
