On the Edge of Winter is the winter mountain race that closes the ACS season: start at Kryvopilskyi Pass, finish at the Bilyi Slon camp in Dzembronia. Two point-to-point races on Saturday, a vertical kilometre on Sunday.
Course
- Dovbush Trail — 40 km, +2,250 m; cut-off 15:00 at CP2 (km 25)
- See Chornohora — 23 km, +1,250 m
- Vertical kilometre — 5.3 km, +1,070 m
Race pack
Named bib, food and drinks at CPs, free sauna and soup, bag transport, souvenir. Mandatory: phone, waterproof jacket, headlamp, first-aid kit, whistle, survival blanket.
Charity
20% of entry fees go to the Armed Forces.
Getting there
Shuttles 375 UAH per person from Vorokhta and the camp to the start, and back to Vorokhta.
