• 10:00–20:00 — race pack pickup for all distances: Zhovten cinema, 14 S. P. Korolova Square;
• 12:00 — kids' races open: Art Square, 4 Mykhailivska St;
• 12:15 — 100 m start;
• 12:40 — 300 m start;
• 12:50 — 500 m start;
• 13:20 — awards for the 300 m and 500 m.

Sunday, 25 October

• 07:00 — race village, bag storage and changing rooms open;
• 08:40 — official opening;
• 09:00 — minute of silence;
• 09:05 — 21 km start;
• 11:05 — 10 km and 5 km start;
• 11:20 — 21 km overall awards, 11:40 — age group awards;
• 12:00 — 5 km awards;
• 12:35 — 10 km, corporate team and running club awards;
• 12:50 — 1 km start;
• 13:00 — event closes. Course cut-offs: 5 km at 11:50, 21 km at 12:05, 10 km at 12:35.

Polissia Half Marathon is a running festival in central Zhytomyr: 21, 10 and 5 km for adults, kids' races, a charity kilometre supporting a Zhytomyr military unit and an online format.

Route

Maps of the 21, 10 and 5 km courses are in the RaceNext app; the organisers updated the routes before the start.

Race pack and pickup

Packs are handed out on 23 October in Kyiv (Gorgany store, 14 Antonovycha St, 15:00–20:00) and on 24 October in Zhytomyr (Zhovten cinema, 14 S. P. Korolova Square, 10:00–20:00). There is no pickup on 25 October. Kids' packs — on 24 October before the kids' races, 10:00–11:50.

Awards

The prize fund is almost UAH 200,000, plus cups, diplomas and gifts from partners. Overall winners and podium finishers of the 21 km receive adidas gift certificates: 1st place — UAH 10,000, 2nd — UAH 9,000, 3rd — UAH 8,000, 4th — UAH 7,000, 5th — UAH 6,000.

Charity

The charity kilometre supports the 132nd separate reconnaissance battalion of the Airborne Assault Forces based in Zhytomyr. Registration for it is on the foundation's page: bgvfund.org/projects-ua/polisskii-napivmarafon-ua.

Registration is in the RaceNext mobile app (iOS and Android); places are limited. Registration for the kids' distances is also in the app.

Getting there

Free transfer Kyiv — Zhytomyr — Kyiv on 25 October: departure at 05:30 from the Olimpiiskyi stadium and at 05:50 from Zhytomyrska metro station, return from Zhytomyr at 14:00. Book a seat via the form until Sunday, 18 October, inclusive; the booking must be confirmed a week before the event.
