Spartan Trifecta Weekend

Spartan Trifecta Weekend is two days of Spartan Race obstacle course racing at VDNH in Kyiv. Run a single distance or collect a Trifecta or Ultratrifecta in one weekend. The event was moved from 26–27 September due to the security situation.

Route

Every distance is a Spartan obstacle course: Ultra 50 km — 60 obstacles, Beast 21 km — 30, Super 10 km — 25, Sprint 5 km — 20. Para Race is 5 km with 20 obstacles for athletes with musculoskeletal impairments and amputations.

Trifecta is Beast, Super and Sprint; Ultratrifecta is Ultra, Super and Sprint. Sprint Night is not held separately this year — its runners have been moved to the daytime Sprint Open.

Schedule

• 31 October — Ultra and Beast.
• 1 November — Super, Sprint, Team Race, Double Race and Para Race.

The detailed start schedule is published in the organiser’s regulations.

Race pack and pickup

Registration, cloakroom and changing rooms are located in a shelter. Collect your race pack in advance to avoid queues before the start. Participants are asked to come without spectators or companions.

On the course

The event runs with a minimal number of volunteers, so read the regulations and the obstacle rules before the start.

Awards

Every finisher receives an official Spartan medal and finisher T-shirt. Those who complete a Trifecta or Ultratrifecta over the weekend also receive a Trifecta medal.

• Elite — competitive category: top 3 men and top 3 women overall receive trophies and gifts.
• Age Group — competition in age groups 14–17, 18–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60+; top 3 in each group receive medals and gifts.
• Open — complete the course at your own pace without racing for a result.
• Team Race — team of 4 with at least one member of the opposite sex; ranked by the last finisher, top 3 teams receive prizes.
• Double Race — a man and a woman finishing together within 5 seconds; ranked by the last finisher, top 3 pairs receive prizes.

Air-raid alert

During an air-raid alert a volunteer may leave their position and obstacle and move to a safe place. Registration, cloakroom and changing rooms operate in a shelter.

Registration and refunds

Under the regulations, entry fees are not refundable. Entries for 26–27 September automatically remain valid for the new date. If you cannot attend, the organiser’s Google form lets you switch to online participation with a 15 % discount on the next race, or move to the May 2027 Spartan keeping the 2026 medal and T-shirt. Certificates issued in 2022 after the cancelled race are also valid.

Spartan Kids races have moved online: each child receives a medal, T-shirt and a challenge task — at race pack pickup or by Nova Poshta after the event.
