V Kryviy Rig Halfmarathon "Steel Run"

Steel Run is the fifth Kryvyi Rih half marathon: a flat asphalt loop along Metalurhiv Avenue and a programme for everyone — kids' races, a fun bike ride, the Schools Cup and the Iron Kilometre for veterans and their families.

Course

A 5 km loop along Metalurhiv Avenue, 100% asphalt. Half marathon — 4 laps, 10 km — 2 laps, 5 km — one lap.

• 21 km — 3 h cut-off
• 10 km — 80 min
• 5 km — 40 min

Schedule

• 2 Oct, 10:00–20:00 — race pack pickup (venue to be announced)
• 3 Oct, 07:00 — race village opens, pack pickup
• 09:20 — bike ride; 09:30 — joint start of 21, 10 and 5 km and Nordic walking
• 11:00 — Iron Kilometre; 12:00 — Schools Cup; 12:30 — kids' 100 and 200 m
• 12:40 — awards; 13:00 — course closes

Race pack and pickup

Bib and pins, timing chip, silicone wristband, info materials and partner gifts. Full pickup on 2 Oct; on race morning (07:00–08:30) only for runners from other cities. Bring an ID, your start letter and a signed waiver.

Awards

Top 3 men and women over 21, 10 and 5 km; age groups on 21 km (20–29 … 60+) get diplomas. Finisher medals go to the first 600 finishers.

Registration and refunds

Registration ran from 1 May to 25 September 2026; no race-day entries. Fees are non-refundable; transfers to another runner were possible until 25 September.
